The Athens County Historical Society and Museum is located in the city of Athens in southeastern Ohio. Athens is about a 45 minute drive west of Parkersburg, West Virginia and about an hour and a half drive southeast of Columbus, Ohio.
ACHS&M is located on the principal street in Athens, Court Street, in the center of town. Driving north on Court Street (one way north), ACHS&M is on the left at 65 North Court Street, about a block south of Carpenter Street. There is free parking in the museum parking lot. Also see the following:
