The Bulletin

The Bulletin is published four times a year, and features what's new at ACHS&M, new items in our collection and library, local history stories, news of upcoming programs and interesting genealogical facts. Members can have their genealogical queries published in The Bulletin as well.

Welcome to the Athens County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society webpage. If you are doing genealogy research that includes ancestors from Athens County, Ohio, we hope you find this site informative and helpful in your research.

    • Family Tree Maker CD's         

    Thanks to the generosity of the Edward Parrish Chapter of Colonial Dames XVII Century,
    located in Marietta, Ohio, the Levering Research Library is in possession of a computer and
    a nearly complete selection of the "Family Tree Maker CD's."  These CD's contain thousands
    of family trees submitted by individuals, electronic copies of published genealogies, selected
    vital statistics from various states and much other information directed to
    the genealogist.

    We have World Family Tree Volumes 1 thru 77 plus approximately 200 other Family
    Archive CD's
