ACHS&M Collection Categories The ACHS&M Collection Categories below represent what is present in the ACHS&M's Collection to date. We have over 40,000 objects in our collection--much more than the 5,000 to 7,000 objects a historical society and museum our size usually has. Our collection allows us to launch very diverse, hands-on and interactive exhibits. There are items in each category that are in need of preservation. These items, once preserved, will be there for future generations to enjoy.

Can't get enough of unique gift-giving? Adopt an ACHS&M Artifact! When you adopt an ACHS&M artifact you buy the preservation materials necessary for that item, usually an acid-free box. Your or a loved one's name is entered into the permanent record as the person responsible for preserving the item. You receive a photo of the item and an ACHS&M Certificate of Adoption.
