Set in a log cabin replica inside the museum, this hands on interactive exhibit takes us along the arduous journey made by pioneers to settle the Northwest Territory.
 


 

This exhibit marks a new era in how ACHS&M connects Athens County

stories to our visitors.

How to Make a Documentary

Learn how documentaries about Ora Anderson were made, how to locate historical photos and other historical assets, and hear about plans for future Athens County-related documentaries. Presented by Jean Andrews, producer for Ohio Landscape Productions, Inc. Food by Purple Chopstix and wine will be served. Members free, $4 adults, $2 13 & up, students, seniors, $1 12 & under. Free parking available.

When you adopt an ACHS&M artifact

you buy the preservation materials necessary for that item, usually an acid-free box. Your or a loved one's name is entered into the permanent record at the person responsible for preserving the item. You receive a photo of the item and an ACHS&M Certificate of Adoption.
